My New Favorite Tool

My new favorite tool: The HOTO Nex O1 Pro Electric Screwdriver

Like many other electronics explorers and adventurers, I grew tired of having to screw in, screw out, screw in, screw out. By the end of some large projects like the frame of my Voron V0.2, my wrists ended up fatigued. I thought, there must be a solution to this problem, and indeed there was.

After some early black friday deal shopping, I stumbled upon the HOTO Nex o1 Pro electric screwdriver. Power packed with up to 4Nm of torque on its highest (adjustable!) torque setting, it easily screwed through even the toughest nylock nuts.
Additionally, it seems like the HOTO brand has spent lots of time designing and making their screwdriver look aesthetically pleasing.

I know one thing that all makers might have in common is a messy desk, but this screwdriver looks pretty nice on there too.

Another feature I touched on earlier is the rotary knob to control torque speeds. This allows you to use this tool to work on anything from small electronics to robots and 3D printers. It is a very versatile tool that seems to be very well made. According to Hoto themselves:

The 1500mAH large capacity battery, which is experienced 37 battery-related safety tests, provides ultra-long endurance that the screwdriver can run more than 1000 screws when it is fully charged. The high-speed magnetic motor and metallic gearbox provide strong and stable power output to the cordless screwdriver. And the universal type-c charging interface makes the charging of the screwdriver convenient.

I’ve enjoyed my experience using this tool and hope that you maybe try it too!

See ya later!
